Add a file with the + button and give it a name. Then tap the mic at the bottom of the screen and say “fetch” followed by the name, for example “fetch passport”. Say “copy passport” to copy it to your clipboard.

Say “Hey Siri, Fetch [file name] in Fetch” or “Hey Siri, Copy [file name] in Fetch”. To save a note by voice, say “Hey Siri, Save to Fetch”. Siri shortcuts are set up automatically once you open Fetch.

• Allow Microphone and Speech Recognition for Fetch in Settings (iPhone/iPad) or System Settings → Privacy & Security (Mac).
• If you use earphones, make sure they are connected before tapping the mic.
• In Fetch → Settings → Recognition language, choose the language you speak.

iPhone/iPad: touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, and choose Fetch. For the Lock Screen or Control Center, customise them and add the Fetch button.
Mac: right-click the desktop, choose Edit Widgets, and add Fetch.

Tap Share in any app and choose Fetch, type a name and tap Save. On Mac you can also drag files onto the Fetch window, or right-click a file in Finder and choose Quick Actions → Assign to Fetch.

• Sign in to the same Apple Account on every device.
• Turn on iCloud Drive, and make sure iCloud Sync is on in Fetch → Settings.
• Check that your iCloud storage isn't full — files can't upload when it is.
• On Mac, open Fetch → Settings → iCloud Sync and tap Sync Now.

Touch and hold (or right-click on Mac) a file and choose Delete. To delete a tag, touch and hold it and choose Delete Tag. A tag that is still on files asks you to remove it first.

Fetch is free for fifteen items, and every feature works on the free tier — voice, Siri, the Shortcuts, the keyboard, widgets and document reading. The limit is on how many items you store, not on what the app will do for you.

Past fifteen, you can unlock unlimited items with a one-time Lifetime purchase ($19.99 in the US) or a Monthly subscription ($3.99). Prices vary by region and your local price is shown before you buy. Buy on one device and it unlocks on the rest.

If you decide not to buy, the fifteen items you already saved stay reachable. Nothing is held hostage.

Go to Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard, and choose Fetch. Then tap the globe key in any app to switch to it.

Search your library from the keyboard and tap a note to type it straight into the field you are in. Tap a file to copy it. If a note has blanks in it, the keyboard asks for them above the keys.

Full Access is optional. Without it the keyboard works normally, but it cannot read your clipboard, so a note using the clipboard field will ask you to type that part instead.

Write a blank in curly braces, like Hi {name}, your order {order id} shipped on {today}. When you use the note, Fetch asks for the parts only you can know and fills in the rest.

{today}, {now}, {time}, {date} and {clipboard} fill themselves. Anything you have typed into a blank before is offered back as a tap — offered, never filled in automatically, because the same note usually goes to somebody different this time.

Yes. Fetch → Settings → Snippets → Date format, and pick one of four: 30 September 2026, September 30 2026, 30/09/2026 or 09/30/2026. The app and the keyboard both use whichever you choose.

Fetch's actions appear in the Shortcuts app automatically — search for Fetch when adding an action. There are also five ready-made shortcuts you can add in one tap: Save Clipboard to Fetch, Save Photo to Fetch, Add File to Fetch, Find in Fetch, and Copy a Detail from Fetch.

Sign in with the same Apple Account, open Fetch → Settings and choose Restore Purchases. A Lifetime unlock applies across iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Fetch. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. A monthly subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.

No. Fetch works without any sign-in. Your library is stored on your device and, if you choose, in your own iCloud.
